We’d like to invite you to join us on this journey to revitalize Sertoma Park. In partnership with Sioux Falls Parks & Recreation, we’ve committed to a 3-year fundraising campaign of $500,000 to cover the costs of adding All Abilities Park Equipment to a minimum of Sertoma Park in Sioux Falls. The initial phase of this project will include the replacement of the existing pieces at Sertoma Park and replacing them with All Abilities Equipment.
In a 2009-2017 study, the CDC estimated that approximately 1 in 6 children aged 3-17 have one or more developmental disabilities. Our planned Me2® equipment meets the 7 Principles of Inclusive Playground Design developed by PlayCore, in partnership with Utah State University, Center for Persons with Disabilities. All Abilities Equipment provides intentional opportunities for physical, cognitive, communicative, social/emotional, and sensory development.
